POLL: Should Trump Cut Funds to California Even if They Go Bankrupt?

CALIFORNIA IS TURNING ITSELF INTO A SANCTUARY STATE…TRUMP SAYS NO.

California has a lot to offer people that live and move there. Immigrants  have found it to be wonderful. People from all over love it’s climate and many offerings.

It is also becoming a haven for those that enter this country illegally. One would imagine that would not be the case.

Look at the state of the state. (Like that?)

One out of every four people that come to this land choose California to reside. We are talking about those that come thought legal channels.

Though it is one of the largest land mass states, California is bulging at the seams.

The Golden State has a huge contingent of Hispanic immigrants as well as from other countries in Asia. The state is seeing a growth that is unprecedented by any other region in the US.

With all of that in place, why would the “soundminded” legislators pass a bill making their state a “sanctuary” one?

As Breitbart reports:

Senate Bill 54, the “sanctuary state” bill, was passed by a 27-12 vote along party lines on Monday evening, with Democrats supporting the measure and Republicans s opposing it. The bill will go to the State Assembly, where Democrats hold a majority, and if approved, to Democratic Gov. Jerry Brown.

The bill bars state and local law enforcement agencies from using their resources to help in federal immigration enforcement. Inquiring about immigration status, providing federal immigration authorities access to interview a person in custody or assisting in immigration enforcement would be prohibited under the bill.

President Trump is not oblivious to their actions. He has repeatedly stated that disobeying the law comes at a financial price.

Trump told Fox News in February:

I think it’s ridiculous. Sanctuary cities- as you know, I’m very much opposed to sanctuary cities…

They breed crime. There’s a lot of problems.

If we have to, we’ll defund. We give tremendous amounts of money to California. California in many ways is out of control, as you know.

What’s at risk

If California continues in this way, they risk a huge monetary shortfall. Over $3 billion-dollar shortfall to be exact. Are they willing to lose this amount by harboring illegal immigrants?

Let’s be clear. This amount is only part of it. California already is in the red for nearly $2 billion dollars.

Add these together, along with any other subsidies, and the state is facing a huge challenge.

Ask Californians if they are behind this decision. When you pass a bill claiming you will defend illegals, you are saying…well we know what they are saying to the nation.

Commons sense would dictate you do what’s right and send back those that came here illegally. You hurt every other American whose ancestors, or personally, came here the right way.

What do you think of Trump’s plan to stop financial aid to California if they continue with the sanctuary direction? Leave your comments below.
